Be honest, did you know ole zombie boy wasn’t Frankenstein?
Frankenstein is the scientist who created Monster Man!
Anyways, this is such a cute craft and super easy! All you need is green, white, and black paper, glue, scissors, and a marker.
When you do crafts with your kids that involve paper, keep the scraps! I know that sounds like hoarding, but it’s just not wasting honestly.
The green paper was the only thing I used that wasn’t a scrap. The white and black paper were both scrap pieces I had!
Save the planet, save your money!
Take one piece of green construction paper and fold it hamburger style then cut it along the fold. Now you have two monster heads, or one monster head and a scrap you can use to cut the nose out of.
The nose is just an oval with nostrils drawn on.
Take black paper and cut a wavy piece out for little zombie boy’s hair. Then cut out some bolt shapes out of black paper as well. You’ll also need two rectangles for the eyebrows.
With the white just cut out two white circles for the eyes. Use your marker, or let the kids use crayons, to draw the pupils/iris on the white circles.
Put glue on all of the pieces and let your kiddos build their own monster. Don’t worry about telling them where pieces go. Let them do it all themselves. Even if they’re stacking every piece on top of each other.
Let them use the marker to draw on whatever type of mouth they want.
Optionally, you can use a white gel pen to draw on threads on the bolts.
This project is so easy and interesting to see how your kiddos build their monster!
