Sea Monster Pasta—A Halloween Delicacy

Another recipe this Halloween month!

This isn’t something I’d give the kids often, but every once in a while is fine for me!

This is such a fun recipe and meal for the kids they LOVED it and loved watching me make the little sea monsters. They also thought it was super funny!

Kids are easily entertained when you allow them to use their imagination!

It’s basically hot dogs and pasta!

I use Lightlife hot dogs since were vegan and have kids with food allergies! I started by boiling water for the pasta. I cut the hot dogs in thirds and with the two rounded ends I carved out eyes and stuck *uncooked* pasta noodles through the hot dog. With the middle piece I just cut each end to make… octopus type tentacles.
mince the water was bowling I just cooked everything like I normally would to make pasta.

I added some spinach leaves to act like kelp and then yellow bell peppers for pirate gold! And of course tomato sauce!

To me, it looks less than appetizing, but the kids absolutely devoured it!

Let me know if you try these Sea Monsters!!
